UPSC Indian Engineering Services (IES) Vacancy March 2012 Online application

The online applications are invited for UPSC Engineering Service Examination (IES) March 2012. Candidates can register online from 10 March, 2012 to 9 April, 2012. The Indian Engineering Services Examination (IES 2012) date is 15 June, 2012.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts IES Exam every year to recruit Engineers in the following disciplines –

Civil Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Total Number of Posts for IES 2012 – 

560 Posts (Including 47 for PH Candidates)

(The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and PH Candidates as per govt. norms)

Eligibility –

1. Candidates should be a Citizen of India (for more see the advt.)

2. Candidates should be a Engineering Graduate from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification. Final year students are also eligible to appear in IES Exam 2012 but they need to provide a valid proof of passing the exam at the time of IES Exam 2012 results.

Age – 

Candidates should be of age in between 21 to 30 years (as on 01-01-2012).

(In Upper age limit, Age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, for OBC 3 years and for Ex-servicemen 5 years). (For more see the advt.)

Late date to apply for IES Exam 2012 – 9 April, 2012

IES Examination 2012 Date – 15 June, 2012

How to download Admit Card of IES Exam 2012-

The admit card for IES Examination 2012 will be available to download on the official website of UPSC (www.upsconline.nic.in) before 2 or 3 weeks of exam. So don’t worry about the admit card, later we will provide you a direct link to download your admit card for IES Exam 2012.
